About

The NUI Maynooth Gos­pel Choir is a col­lege based choir that was foun­ded in 2002. It star­ted under the dir­ec­tion of Michael Fay and is cur­rently under the dir­ec­tion of Eimear Cre­han. We rehearse once a week and pro­mote a sense of accept­ance and abil­ity — we believe any­one can sing, they just need the right environment!

We do a big vari­ety of gigs, from masses to con­certs to Christ­mas parties to char­ity events. Our rep­er­toire is a mix of tra­di­tional gos­pel music mixed with more mod­ern music that we have put a gos­pel twist to. There are between 40–60 mem­bers in the choir and it is run by a com­mit­tee of stu­dents who work very hard get­ting it all right! We can be booked for parties, char­ity events, pro­mo­tional work and other events.
