We like to do some­thing a little dif­fer­ent at our Today FM parties… and the Maynooth Gos­pel Choir couldn’t have fit­ted the bill more! We came across their web­site purely by acci­dent and after hear­ing a sample of their music, they were booked straight away!
On the night of the party they were abso­lutely amaz­ing. They instantly got every­one into the Christ­mas Spirit, and even came up with a jingle of their own to wel­come our guests into the room! The whole crowd got really involved in the per­form­ance and a few even joined in with a few num­bers!
Our guests still men­tion the Maynooth Gos­pel Choir a couple of months on and I know they will be in the fore­front of peoples’ minds for future gigs! The Choir was so pro­fes­sional from begin­ning to end and abso­lutely blew us away with their smil­ing faces and love for what they do! We couldn’t recom­mend them enough!

You just don’t know how much your singing means to us. You were the talk of the day! You made the day for us and I can hon­estly say it was my favour­ite part. Sev­eral times dur­ing the even­ing, (at the recep­tion), I heard people still singing Oh Happy Day. The Church wasn’t the way I ima­gined it would be… it was a mil­lion times bet­ter. I danced my whole way down the aisle… it was abso­lutely fantastic.

I would just like to say how you all made such a spe­cial day start of so well you were won­der­ful. We had a lot of Eng­lish over for the wed­ding and they never seen any­thing like it, all day long they were com­ing up to me and say­ing how good you were. One of our Irish friends said that the choir is the most thing you will remem­ber about the wed­ding, as for my self I could not praise you all enough the gos­pel choir give such a happy feel­ing to it all and make you want to sing and dance along.

I am writ­ing to you on behalf of the Par­ents’ Asso­ci­ation of the Present­a­tion Girls’ Primary School to thank you and all the mem­bers of your choir for the won­der­ful even­ing of music. Thank you also for your enthu­si­asm, ideas and atten­tion to detail to make it such a suc­cess­ful night. The sixth class choir really enjoyed the exper­i­ence of singing with such a pro­fes­sional group of people. It is fant­astic to have two such tal­en­ted choirs loc­ated in Maynooth. Just wanted to say ‘Con­grat­u­la­tions’ to you and all the mem­bers of your won­der­ful choir for a most enjoy­able per­form­ance at the Helix last Tues­day night. We trav­elled from Leitrim spe­cially for the con­cert because our daugh­ter Aoife (Smith) was singing with your group and for us, you and your choirs con­tri­bu­tion were the high­light of the night!! Not tak­ing from any of the other per­form­ances, all of which were top class, but the hap­pi­ness and enthu­si­asm that gen­er­ated from your group was uplift­ing and enlight­en­ing to say the least. We (5 of us) thor­oughly enjoyed it — Well done to all concerned.
